Fine Print Pariah is the alternative rock side of Paul McCormick's brain, a side that developed during years of listening to classic and progressive rock such as Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Rush and Led Zeppelin and later influenced by the 90's alternative rock movement led by the likes of Alice in Chains, Tool, Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails. For Paul, Fine Print Pariah marks a new approach to music after years of suffering through band breakups or toughing it out solo with his acoustic guitar. This time Paul has taken his fate into his own hands and is doing all of the studio work himself. Every instrument involved - including vocals - comes straight from him the old-fashioned way. But a musician alone can only take things so far and Paul is currently getting a live formation ready to hit the stages in 2010. The goal is to form a live act that will lend the songs a spontaneous twist and create a listening experience that is unique and not a simple reproduction of what you hear in the recordings.
